The "Xplorer Prize", officially launched in January 2019, is a new public welfare project initiated by Tencent in partnership with leading scientists. It focuses on promoting fundamental science and cutting-edge core technology in society by direct funding to young scientists to achieve breakthroughs. On November 2nd, 2019, fifty scientists received the inaugural Xplorer Prize Awards in Beijing.
